LLC Maincast, with entrepreneur Maksym Krippa as its crucial investor, has announced the launch of two new TV channels—Maincast Sport and Maincast—along with an innovative sports OTT platform, Maincast.tv. The official start of broadcasting is scheduled for November 30, 2024, following a decision by the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting on November 7.
Content Tailored for Every Audience
Maincast Sport will focus on broadcasting sports events, including international tournaments featuring Ukrainian athletes, promoting national achievements on the global stage. Meanwhile, the Maincast channel will deliver entertainment video content catering to a broad audience. Both channels will broadcast exclusively in Ukrainian, operating 24/7 to support and popularize Ukrainian-language media.
Driving Innovation in Media Consumption
According to Maincast co-founder Vitaliy Volochay, the company’s primary goal is to develop Ukrainian-language content. The project aims to attract a broad audience by initially offering free access to broadcasts, with plans to introduce premium services and innovative advertising formats tailored to viewer preferences.

Expanding Media Assets
Businessmen Maksym Krippa, known for investing in IT, esports, and game development through projects like NAVI and GSC Game World, continues expanding his media ventures. Launching the new channels is part of a broader strategy to grow media assets and increase influence in the market. As Volochay emphasized, Maincast strives to produce high-quality Ukrainian content that meets international standards.
Supporting Esports Growth in Ukraine
This initiative also marks a significant step in advancing esports in Ukraine, now among the country’s top three most popular sports alongside football and boxing. Maincast Sport will feature broadcasts of international competitions, while Maincast.tv will provide live streams of leading esports tournaments, including Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and Valorant.
